The 3rd in the series of SALC online webinars in partnership with the Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme (BFER) was on 23 September 2025 and explored 'Public Rights of Way in Suffolk - responsibilities'. Presentations from Claire Dickson: Rights of Way Operations Manager for Growth Highways and Infrastructure from Suffolk County Council and Beverley McClean National Landscape Planning Officer from Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape Team , supported understanding the rights and responsibilities for public access, the complexities of legislation, & opportunities for promotion of access. A fascinating talk on Public Rights of Way in Suffolk - responsibilities and the recent changes to Section 85 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (as amended).
