A Morning With Frankel & Lead Artist | Inside The Stallion Making Race
From the unbeaten brilliance of Frankel in 2012 to last year’s winner Lead Artist, the BOYLE Sports Lockinge Stakes has long been a race that has identified the stallions of the future. In the lead-up to this year's race, we spent the morning at Juddmonte to gain a rare insight into life beyond the track - following these Group 1 winners in their life at stud. Filmed at Banstead Manor Stud, home of the incomparable Frankel and last year's BOYLE Sports Lockinge Stakes winner Lead Artist, this feature - created in partnership with the European Breeders' Fund - explores their life after racing. The EBF is one of the most influential initiatives in racing, reinvesting back into the sport through vital prize money contributions. All Juddmonte stallions are part of the EBF programme, meaning their progeny are eligible to compete in EBF-funded races, further connecting their legacy on the track with the future of the sport.
