Veteran-Cycle Club video archive - John Woodburn Time Trial Legend
This recording is a biographical interview which took place on 2 November 2000. It provides a fascinating insight into one of British cycle sport's most enduring heroes who, in 1961 won the National 25 mile time trial cup and was still winning time trial awards 40 years later. One of these was the RTTC Veterans' Best All Rounder, presented to him in January 2001 by Eddy Merckx as shown in the footage. Courtesy of Tony Hadland and Dorothy Pinkerton.
