Kitwana's Toys #177: 1994 Mattel Disney The Lion King Roaring Kings Action Figure Set 66371 Unboxing

I have FINALLY obtained one of the very holy grails in Lion King toys! What makes this action figure set special is that it was only available for a very, very short time back in 1994 at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California before some of them ended up at Toys R Us where they were on sale for $14.99. Mattel never even mentioned this set anywhere in their promotional materials. Its release fell together with the original release of Disney's beloved animated classic, The Lion King. The set features 4 of the rarest-ever Lion King action figures ever made: Ed, Shenzi, Scar and Adult Simba, of which Ed is exclusive to this set and was never included in any other Mattel sets. Scar and Simba feature a mold that is exclusive to this set. Pressing the buttons neatly integrated into their manes trigger a kicking motion of their front legs as well as a roaring sound feature. You'd think that after getting a boxed Roaring Kings set, as well as a loose Simba & Scar, I could stop collecting Lion King toys and call my collection complete, BUT the story behind is also about an Ebay purchase having gone somewhat wrong, yet me making the best of it.
