Pangdam I/BB kunjungi Yonif TP 908/Gaja Dompak

The Commander of the I/Bukit Barisan Military Command, Major General Hendy Antariksa, conducted a working visit to the 908/GD Infantry Battalion, located at Jalan Runding No. 114, Sidiangkat Village, Sidikalang District, Dairi Regency, on Thursday (July 2, 2026). The visit aimed to inspect the unit's facilities and infrastructure and meet with soldiers. The event began with a report from the Deputy Commander of the 908/GD Infantry Battalion, Captain Inf. Helda Pragas Setyawan, S.T.Han, to the Commander of the I/BB Military Command. The event was followed by a traditional welcome, which included the garlanding of the Pakpak Bulang-Bulang Ulos (traditional clothing) as a sign of respect for the Pakpak community. The Commander then received a report from the guard squad. The Commander then provided direction to the soldiers of the 908/GD Infantry Battalion and personnel from the 0206/Dairi Military District Command. In his remarks, the Commander expressed his gratitude to all personnel who attended enthusiastically. The Regional Military Commander emphasized that the majority of soldiers in Yonif TP 908/GD are new soldiers who must always adhere to the Sapta Marga (Servant's Principles), the Soldier's Oath, and the Eight Obligations of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). The Regional Military Commander also reminded every soldier to carry out their duties responsibly, always prioritizing safety, and maintaining good health as the primary asset in carrying out their duties. Furthermore, the Regional Military Commander emphasized the importance of discipline, loyalty, and mental and physical readiness for every soldier.
