EPISÓDIO 1| MEA CULPA [Diabetes Mellitus]

In this episode, after the end of a relationship, the protagonist begins to frequently visit a neighborhood grocery store and starts experiencing crises, as well as physical symptoms such as fatigue, difficulty concentrating, malaise, and a frequent need to eat sweets, showing improvement soon after eating. He seeks psychiatric help, receives a diagnosis of Adjustment Disorder, and begins psychological treatment. During the process, the psychologist observes that the symptoms were not only emotional, noticing signs of a possible physical cause and suggesting joint follow-up with a doctor. The clinical investigation leads to a diagnosis of Diabetes, explaining an important part of the presented alterations. Fictional series for educational purposes.
