Today's ÖBB Railjet journey takes us from Vienna Central Station via Vienna Meidling and Tullnerfeld to St. Pölten. Unfortunately, we won't quite reach St. Pölten station due to a train malfunction. The LZB (train control system) end procedure resulted in an emergency brake application that couldn't be reversed. Normally, the target speed in this end procedure would drop to at least 160 km/h, as PZB (train control system) operation is only permitted at this speed.
