We tested the SEAT Arona, the best-seller in the B-SUV segment in Spain. The new Arona is available with five different engines, ranging in power from 90 hp (66 kW) to 150 hp (110 kW), in gasoline (TSI) and CNG (TGI). As for gasoline engines, the Arona offers the 1.0 TSI engine with 95 hp (70 kW) and 175 torque, always paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The next level is occupied by the same engine with 110 hp (81 kW) and 200 torque, which can be chosen with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DSG. Finally, the four-cylinder 1.5 TSI engine with cylinder deactivation system (ACT) is also available, generating 150 hp (110 kW) of power and 250 Nm of torque. It will always be paired with the DSG-7 transmission. As for ECO options, the SEAT Arona is also available with the 1.0 TGI engine with 90 hp (66 kW) and 160 Nm of torque, which equips it with the DGT ECO label.
