小泉今日子、沢尻エリカの“食べっぷり”を絶賛「いい顔してる」　映画「食べる女」特別映像が公開

A preview of the film "Taberu Onna" (directed by Jiro Ikuno), starring actress Kyoko Koizumi, was released on September 29th. The footage shows Koizumi and her co-stars Erika Sawajiri, Atsuko Maeda, and Kyoka Suzuki sitting around a table devouring one dish after another. The newly released clip shows a scene where Koizumi, a writer known as Atsuko (aka Tonko), plays Tonko, and her editor Keiko (aka Dodo Sawajiri), Dodo's drinking buddy Tamiko (Maeda), and Tonko's childhood friend Midori (Suzuki) gather for dinner at her home. The film begins with Tonko and Midori singing in the kitchen, followed by scenes of Tamiko happily reading out the day's menu and the four of them silently eating the delicious food on the table. The film is based on Tsutsui Tomomi's "Taberu Onna" (Shincho Bunko) and "Taberu Onna Zoku" (Access Publishing). Tsutsui wrote the screenplay and depicts the true nature of "food" and "sex" through the everyday lives of eight women of different ages, occupations, and values. Yusuke Santamaria, Ikeuchi Hiroyuki, Katsuji Ryo, Koike Teppei, and Mamiya Shotaro also appear.
