The Ren journey continues on CJ’s Corner / The Reaction, and today we are jumping into Ren — Dumb King Come. Before getting into this one, I listened to King Dotta first so I could understand where the battle started. He had some clever bars, but I wanted to see how Ren would respond because we already know when Ren gets pushed, things can get a little different. And this one was wild. This is a battle rap reaction, hip-hop breakdown, and real conversation all in one. Ren came in with the jokes, the receipts, the wordplay, the funeral setup, the royal flush line, the King without a crown angle, and a whole lot of playful disrespect. It felt like Ren was playing the dozens while still showing he could really rap. But what stood out to me most was the ending. After all the jokes and battle energy, Ren turned the whole thing into a bigger message about division, race, politics, religion, ego, vanity, hate, and how people can do more together than apart. Then instead of just trying to tear King Dotta down, he told people to go show him love and support. That says a lot about Ren’s character.
