This is the official emotional interpretation of our community-created Punjabi love song, “Sajna Ve Sajna.” Warm female vocals, piano, acoustic textures, sarangi and cinematic strings carry the words from playful hidden love into a heartfelt confession. “Sajna Ve Sajna” is a Punjabi community love song created from four verses and one line contributed by five beautiful hearts. I began with: “ਸੱਜਣਾ ਵੇ ਸੱਜਣਾ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਏ…” Then the community added their words. What surprised me was how naturally every contribution fit together—like pieces of a song that had already been waiting to be discovered. My role was to gently arrange the words, rhythm and structure while protecting the emotion of every contributor. Five hearts. Five contributions. One song. Written together.
