Plastic Surgeon Allegedly Delayed Calling 911 for Patient

A California plastic surgeon is facing a murder charge for allegedly delaying calling 911 for hours for a patient who later died. Thirty-seven-year-old Megan Espinoza went to the doctor for a routine breast augmentation surgery. Prosecutors claim the surgeon used a nurse with no certification in anesthesiology to sedate the patient. When she fell into distress, he allegedly ordered his employees not to call 911. Espinoza was placed at a hospital for six weeks prior to her death.
