Welcome to Episode 2 of our Subnautica 2 playthrough! In this episode we finally build our base… which, thanks to Shaun, ends up being significantly larger than anything three survivors could realistically need. Apparently the man saw an alien ocean and decided what we really needed was oceanfront property. Meanwhile, I stay true to form by spending an embarrassing amount of time searching for resources that should be incredibly easy to find, while Tyler continues contributing moral support and accountant knowledge to the team. Toward the end we actually start making some real progress as we attempt to clear Bloom Cankers in order to gain heat tolerance — which would probably be easier if we weren’t constantly getting distracted, lost, or sidetracked by our own bad decisions. If you enjoy survival games, co-op chaos, exploration, and watching three friends slowly transform a simple survival mission into complete confusion, be sure to subscribe for more Subnautica 2 episodes!
