On the 10th, Yangsan Seokgulam Temple held the ‘4th Seongsa Wonhyo Tea Ceremony’ to commemorate the footsteps and spirit of Seongsa Wonhyo at the courtyard in front of Bangogul Cave within the temple grounds. The event was attended by Abbot Mujeong, Yangsan Mayor Na Dong-yeon, Yangsan Cultural Center Director Park In-ju, and other officials. Abbot Mujeong emphasized, “Seongsa Wonhyo’s spirit of unhindered auspiciousness is a teaching that brings joy and happiness to all sentient beings. I hope that through this single cup of tea offered today, the thirst of all sentient beings will be quenched and their individual wishes will be fulfilled.” The Yangsan Cultural Center has been holding the annual Wonhyo Seongsa Academic Presentation and Tea Ceremony since 2023, and this year, the event was held at Bangogul Cave in Seokgulam, Cheonseongsan Mountain, where Great Master Wonhyo and Great Master Daean practiced together.
