Maringá, in the heart of Paraná, feels like a breath of fresh air in southern Brazil - a city where modern life and nature blend seamlessly . Wide tree-lined avenues cut through neighborhoods filled with cafés, music and the warmth of local hospitality. At its center rises the striking Cathedral of Our Lady of Glory, a futuristic concrete spire surrounded by lush parks and the scent of blooming ipês. Known for its clean streets, thriving markets, and vibrant student life, Maringá offers the rhythm of a big city wrapped in the calm of a garden town. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a good espresso in the morning, stroll through shaded boulevards by noon, and end the day watching the sun set over a skyline softened by green. In this drive through video, you will experience the essence of this lovely city. About Pepi & Elci: Elci was born in Bahia, Brazil and Pepi was born in India. After living in the USA for many years, in July 2021, they retired from their lives near Washington DC and moved to travel and live in Brazil. Soon after arriving in Brazil, they purchased a VW bus (Kombi van) and converted it into motorhome (complete with a kitchen, sink, solar powered air conditioning, folding sofa bed, fans, electonic steering assist, LED lights etc). During their first year, they roamed around all of southern and central Brazil before discovering the area around Itabuna and Ilhéus in Bahia. In late 2022, they started buildng their small and rustic beach bungalow in a coastal area known for its fishing villages. Today, their beach bungalow in coastal Bahia is their base from where they vlog about their day to day life and regular visits to Itacaré, Ilhéus, Itabuna and beyond...
