This video is about the newly announced 2026-2028 Immigration Levels Plan, issued on November 4, 2025. In this plan, all the targets are down, the International students getting the biggest cut of 49%, while the total temporary residents got 43% reduction. Good thing that the Permanent residency has a minimal decrease of only 15,000. This numbers show that it will be difficult for student and worker applicants to get through because of limited slots. However for Temporary Foreign Worker, despite many call to scrap it totally, I can say that is good to know that it will continue with lower target.
