Unity just dropped their AI assistant into open beta and instead of just reacting to the hype, I went and tested all three tools that actually matter right now. Claude Code + MCP, Unity AI, and Adjoint. Same project, same tasks, same prompts. I used a Super Mario Clone GDD as the test bed and ran 10 tasks across every tool to see which one is actually worth your money.
