We Meet Again… | 1940s Weekend, Skegness & a Vlogging Disaster!

#Lincolnshire #1940sWeekend #Tattershall #Horncastle #Skegness #ButlersEmpire #TravelVlog #UKDaysOut #CafeReview #FishAndChips We headed to Tattershall Thorpe in Lincolnshire to meet up with our good friends Sharon and Martin from Butlers Empire for the fantastic 1940s Weekend. After a long catch-up over delicious food from The Ragged Apron Mobile Café, we explored the event, met lots of wonderful people dressed in authentic 1940s outfits, and spent time with Gary and Stacey Vlogs and the rest of the family. Later, the search for a decent coffee took us to No.8 in Horncastle, where we enjoyed excellent coffee and cake—definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. That evening we headed over to Skegness, where there were several venues with live ska and reggae bands. The music was right up our street, but unfortunately the atmosphere wasn’t, with far too many drunk people for our liking. After enjoying some fish and chips and a stroll along the seafront, we called it a night. The following morning we planned breakfast at the Petwood Hotel, but as it was Sunday there was no breakfast service. Instead, we tucked into some fantastic roast meat rolls with roast potatoes, which certainly went down well! Then came the moment every YouTuber dreads… Martin realised he hadn’t pressed record during one of the most important parts of the previous day’s filming! So it was back to the 1940s Weekend to film it all again. You’ll have to head over to the Butlers Empire channel to see how it all turned out!
