Knit Purl Stitches #2: KING CHARLES BROCADE
King Charles Brocade stitch is famous stitch pattern and is so easy to make with just knit and purl stitches. This elegant version of Diamond Brocade carries a historical footnote of a rather gruesome nature. It is one of the patterns in a vest worn by King Charles I of England on the day of his execution in 1649. For written instructions, see: http://www.knitpurlstitches.com/2015/... I hope you like and enjoy making it as much as I have!
