I visited the most isolated city in the world

I visited what is considered the most isolated major city in the world - Perth. The nearest capital city, (which is actually another country) it is over 2,100 kilometres away. (Jakarta). From the east coast, over 3,200 kilometres. And in between, there is almost nothing. And because of that distance, this place has built a reputation. People say it is isolated. People say it is boring. People say once you arrive, there is not much to do.
