RAY MILLAND in Alfred Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train" • Classic Radio Theater • [remastered]

Here's another great "Movie for your MIND." It's "Strangers on a Train" from Lux Radio Theater. I listened to it recently so I thought I'd pass it along. Ray Milland does a very good job as the pro tennis player trying to get a divorce from his estranged wife. Frank Lovejoy does an excellent job of playing the weirdo psychopath "Bruno." Bruno hates his father because Dad wants to send him away to a nut house (where he really belongs) Bruno hates his dad so much he wants to kill him, then he convinces himself that Ray Milland must want to kill his wife. Bruno suggests they "SWAP MURDERS" and thinks Milland has agreed to participate! This is definitely a Hitchcock story and even if you've seen the movie, that's okay. If not that's okay too because this is a pretty good adaptation all by itself with great actors. Instead of the climax on a high rpm merry-go-round as in the movie, they come up with a different one for radio listeners.
