Ó Bhean a'Tí - Clannad, 1979
Clannad perform their arrangement of the traditional song ‘Ó Bhean A’Tí’. The song Ó Bhean A’Tí was recorded recorded in Bremen, Germany for the live Clannad album ’Turas 1980’i. Clannad were formed in the early 1970s in Gweedore, County Donegal comprising musicians and singers from the Brennan family. This episode of ‘The Humours of Donnybrook’ was broadcast on 7 February 1979. The presenter is Ciarán Mac Mathúna. ‘The Humours of Donnybrook’ was a series of traditional Irish music programmes presented by Ciarán MacMathuna and produced by Peter Canning.
