DCS World - MiG 21 - Battle of Tabqa Airbase, Syria 2014

In August 2014, Tabqa Airbase was a small enclave controlled by government forces in northern Syria. Aircraft component consisted mostly of MiG-21s, of which many were not airworthy. However, on 10 August, the so-called Islamic State launched an offensive against the airbase, determined to eliminate this enclave in the territory they controlled.
