県内7つの美術館・博物館の名品が集結　兵庫県立美術館「ミュージアムのミステリー」

A special exhibition featuring masterpieces from the collections of seven art museums and museums within Hyogo Prefecture is currently being held at the Kobe Museum of Art. A bizarre work with long, flower-like decorations and protrusions extending from various parts of the body is among the exhibits. This exhibition, which opened on June 6th at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art in Kobe City, is a collaboration between seven art museums and museums within the prefecture, showcasing works from their respective collections. The exhibition features approximately 120 works on the theme of mystery, including "mysteries," "supernatural phenomena," and "the bizarre," related to art and history. In particular, the "the bizarre" section includes woodblock prints related to the ghost story "Banshu Sarayashiki," as well as a puppet "kashira" (head) representing Oiwa, a character from "Yotsuya Kaidan," which is a designated cultural property of the prefecture.
