Vacuum Bag Surfboard Delamination Repair
When a surfboard deck is delaminated from nose to tail it often ends up in the trash. This week Wade Easterling is going to show you how to breathe new life into your "ruined" surfboard by doing a high-density foam insert. This isn't your ordinary deck delamination repair. Wade is going to be using divinycell, vacuum bagging materials, fillers and polyester resin. Did we also mention that he will be doing this vacuum bag project without using a vacuum pump? This is a two-part demo, so take a look at this week's video to find out how he pulls off the prep stage. Tag #fiberglasshawaii in your social media posts so we can check out the ding repairs you're doing at home or in your shop. For more materials, tools and fun check out http://shop.fiberglasshawaii.com. Check back next week for Part 2 to see the finished product!
