Aleksey “Alex” Golesh (Russian: Алексей Голеш) is a Russian-American college football coach and the current head football coach at Auburn University (2026–present) Wikipedia+1. Born June 24, 1984 in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, Golesh moved to the U.S. at age seven during the dissolution of the Soviet Union, growing up in Brooklyn, New York, and Dublin, Ohio Wikipedia+1.
