Yuto Kakizawa, who created a striking portrayal of Jekyll/Hyde in the 2023 production and won the Best Actor Award at the 31st Yomiuri Theater Awards, will now challenge himself to an even darker realm, captivating audiences. His sharp acting, which exposes the darkness lurking within humanity, and his explosive energy are truly unique. Furthermore, Takayuki Sato, a member of the vocal group "LE VELVETS" and a leading figure in the musical world with his overwhelming vocal ability, such as playing Jean Valjean in "Les Misérables," will take on one of the most challenging roles in the musical world. He is expected to awaken the madness lurking in the depths of reason and break new ground that no one has ever seen before. The role of Lucy, the prostitute and heroine caught between Jekyll and Hyde, will be played by Kiho Maaya, who captivated audiences in the 2023 production, and Sora Kazuki, who, after leaving the Takarazuka Revue, has appeared in popular works such as "SIX" and is attracting attention for her all-around talent in singing, dancing, and acting. The other heroine, Emma, ​​Jekyll's fiancée, will be played by Dream Ami, whose clear and powerful singing voice in the previous production is still fresh in people's minds, and Fuuka Yuzuki, who has appeared in numerous masterpieces and continues to make steady progress as a musical actress. The role of Utterson, Jekyll's best friend, will be played by Hayata Tateyama. The role of Stride, Jekyll's adversary, will be played by Shohei.
