"Logistics lockdown" for the Russian army. Middle Strike drones are targeting Russian rear facilities. In recent months, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have quadrupled the number of enemy logistics facilities, warehouses, equipment, command posts, and supply routes destroyed in the rear, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. The destruction of Russian rear facilities reduces the number of assaults on the front, confirms Mykola Kolesnik, commander of the 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The regiment operates the "Zozulya" kamikaze drone, which flies up to 500 km and carries a warhead of up to 50 kg. Thanks to medium-range strikes, the regiment has complete control of the Zaporizhzhia region, the commander says. They are also able to bypass Russian air defenses in occupied Crimea and hit energy infrastructure facilities in Dzhankoy, Krasnoperekopsk, and Armyansk. As part of the first stage of the "Logistics Lockdown," the Ministry of Defense, together with the General Staff, allocated an additional UAH 5 billion for the purchase of modern mid-strike assets.
