More Clog Dancing Set 1

A selection of traditional Durham and Northumberland clog steps for the experienced clog dancer. Traditional steps created by the coal miners of Northern England wearing industrial wooden soled clogs during the 19th Century. Set 1 is the first set in a series of 4 sets which accompany the notation of steps in the instruction manual 'More Clog Dancing' by Brenda Walker. The steps are performed by Brenda Walker and the accompanying musician is Bridie Walker (now Bridie Bailey).
