As the flagship of the Seadeck Series, it brings together beauty, technology and environmental responsibility in a vessel that represents the maximum expression of this celebrated line. DESIGN FORM Exterior lines by Alberto Mancini give the Seadeck 9 a sleek, monolithic presence defined by a vertical bow, wrap-around glazing and an unbroken silhouette. The interiors are the work of Milan-based designers Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, whose considered use of natural materials, generous natural light and fluid indoor-outdoor transitions creates spaces that feel connected to the environment at every moment. Carbon fibre superstructure technology, developed in collaboration with Azimut's R&D department, reduces structural weight by up to 30%. This allows for increased interior volume and stability without adding overall displacement, a balance that shapes every aspect of the onboard experience. THE FUN ISLAND: A NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SEA The Seadeck 9 reimagines the aft deck as a cascading sequence of three terraces spanning over 60 square metres. At its centre sits a pool integrated directly into the deck, flanked by two sliding sundecks that can close over it entirely. A generous platform descends to the waterline, dissolving the boundary between yacht and ocean. The result is a social and recreational space without precedent in this class. SUSTAINABILITY AND PERFORMANCE The Azimut Seadeck 9 is powered by three Volvo Penta IPS 1350 diesel-electric hybrid pods delivering 1,000 hp each, with a top speed approaching 27 knots. Fuel consumption is reduced by at least 20% compared to vessels of equivalent size and weight with traditional hull and shaft configurations. Across a full year of operation, including time at anchor, CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 40%. Azimut describes this as the beginning of a new path, one in which environmental stewardship and elevated yachting are not in tension but inseparable.
