U.S. Army Green Berets | 10th SFG (Airborne) | Tactical Jumps in Bosnia & Herzegovina

Green Berets from the U.S. Army 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and paratroopers from the 5th Quartermaster Theater Aerial Delivery Company prepared for and executed multiple high-altitude, free-fall jumps, from UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters at altitudes above 10,000 feet near Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additional training included a Civil Affairs Soldier assigned to the 10th SFG (Airborne) teaching soldiers of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina how to apply a makeshift tourniquet near Tuzla. SOCEUR troops maintain readiness by keeping current on skills such as military free fall jumping, while also providing training to our partners and allies, which ensures they are always ready to respond anywhere and anytime to any emerging threats in support of security and stability in the Balkan region.
