El Armonio de Santa Teresa y las Carmelitas de Córdoba

🎹🇦🇷 The Harmonium of Saint Teresa and the Carmelites of Córdoba 🌍In this video, I invite you to discover the history of the harmonium of the Church of Saint Teresa and the Monastery of Saint Joseph, belonging to the Discalced Carmelites, in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. ___________________________________________________ 👉 What you will discover in this video: Historical legacy: A sonic journey that takes us back more than 100 years in time. Sound engineering: The fascinating workings of its reeds, stops, and keyboards using air. Heritage significance. Exceptional acoustics: A visual tour of the interior of the Chapel. The harmonium is a Mannborgs brand instrument with 9 stops, 2 manuals, 4.5 octaves, two 54-note keyboards, a 27-note pedalboard, and 2 pedals to power the bellows, although it currently has an electric motor and 2 foot pedals. I am grateful to Alicia Boltamino, director of the Juan de Tejeda Museum of Religious Art, and to organist Cristian Barrios for allowing me to enter and play some melodies. ________________________________________ 📍 Location: Church of Santa Teresa and Monastery of San José, Independencia 122, Córdoba City. ________________________________________ 📌 Chapters 0:00 Introduction 0:40 History 4:08 Architecture of the Church of Santa Teresa 7:26 Harmoniums of the Church 9:08 Harmonium Demonstration 15:06 Closing Remarks ________________________________________ ✨ If you enjoyed the video, don't forget to like 👍, comment 💬, and subscribe 🔔 to support the channel. #Cordoba #CordobaChurches #HistoricChurches #SantaTeresa #SantaTeresaChurch #SanJoseMonastery #CordobaCulture #CordobaHeritage #CordobaTourism #CordobaArgentina #MusicalHeritage #AntiqueInstruments #ChurchOrgan #Organist #Museums #Architecture #Concert #ClassicalMusic #HistoryOfMusic #PipeOrgans #Harmony
