Politics is in everything we do in life. That was one of the biggest lessons I took away from this show. I had the opportunity to sit down with Mary Flavia, and we talked about a wide range of topics. Mary Flavia is a media personality who rose to fame on one of Uganda’s local TV stations, Bukedde TV. Her show became one of the most-watched television programs in Uganda’s history. However, she shared that there came a time when she felt she needed a new challenge. After facing several difficulties in her career, she decided to take a break and relocate to the USA, where she lived for five years. When she returned to Uganda, she aspired to become a Member of Parliament. Unfortunately, she was not given the NUP party ticket to contest for the position. Rather than giving up on her political ambitions, she chose to focus on content creation.
