Darío Kubar, former mayor and current councilman of General Rodríguez, was among the guests at the swearing-in ceremony of Diego Santilli as the new Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers. The appointment, championed by Javier Milei, aims to overcome the political fallout from Manuel Adorni's tenure and usher in a new era of dialogue with governors and local leaders. Kubar endorsed Diego Santilli's new role in the national government, asserting that his appointment strengthens dialogue with the provinces and enhances the political capacity of Javier Milei's administration. According to Kubar, the presence of 14 governors at the Casa Rosada (Government House) reflected a new phase of agreements with the national executive branch. At the same time, he criticized Axel Kicillof, accusing him of mismanaging public resources, prioritizing political spending, and maintaining an inefficient state structure while problems persist in hospitals, schools, and security. He affirmed that the province is experiencing structural deterioration resulting from years of Peronist rule. When asked about the 2027 election, Kubar stated that Santilli possesses the political and managerial skills to become the candidate for Governor of Buenos Aires Province, once confirmed by the President of the Nation at that stage—the mother of all battles. He highlighted Santilli's experience, his knowledge of the 135 municipalities, and his electoral record against Kirchnerism, while also assuring that he "will work to ensure that Diego leads the project that seeks to end Kicillof's political cycle in the province."
