NBC TODAY Show: Children and Smoke Alarms, Feb. 26, 2008
Home Safety Council president, Meri-K Appy and the TODAY Show conducted a night time fire drill in a home with four sleeping children to demonstrate the importance of planning and practicing a family fire escape plan. With the childrens parents watching from another room, the smoke alarm was activated after the children were sleeping.
