Forrest Gump meets the Lt. Dan Band in Savannah, GA On April 22nd, 2011 the "Lt Dan Band" played a concert in Forsyth Park, Savannah, GA. Forrest Gump spends a lot of time in Savannah, entertaining tourist on some of the local tours. When Forrest found out that "Lt Dan" was going to be in Savannah, he had to go see for himself. So we set out on the adventure to find Lieutenant Dan. Gary Sinise (who looks just like Lieutenant Dan) was quite surprised when Julie Dutchak called Forrest to come up to the Stage. Julie and Mari Anne sang 'You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman' to Forrest. Gary and the Band seemed to really enjoy the experience and the crowd loved the Bonus.
