The Kajang tribe is a traditional tribe that occupies Bulukumba Regency. The area is divided into eight villages and six hamlets. Geographically, the Kajang area is divided into two, namely inner Kajang or "tau kajang" and outer Kajang or "tau Lembang". Outer Kajang people tend to live more modern lives and can accept civilization such as technology and electricity. In contrast to Kajang Dalam, there is no electricity and people are not allowed to wear sandals, because they are considered to be made from technology. Until now, the Kajang tribe is known for its strong customary law. They will distance themselves from everything related to modernization.
