I use the metaphor of the chess board because I feel it's a very easy way to conceptualize the way we become more sophisticated in our perspective when we reach for the next level of our evolution. In many ways, astrology is a powerful tool for separating from our ego consciousness in order to tap into a more divine consciousness--and that's what's really lighting me up these days. As we awaken, we see things from a higher and higher perspective, until we reach the brightest vision we can hold.
