Welcome to another mill adventure! We're continuing work at the Upper Mill! After completing the massive, three-meter-high sandstone retaining wall to support our courtyard, we're now tackling the next step: building the fence. I'm using the excavator to transport the heavy, wrought-iron fence panels directly to the wall. Core drilling is being used to anchor them securely before the panels are firmly set in concrete. At the same time, we're terraforming: A truck is delivering topsoil, which we're spreading with the excavator and digging bucket to level the area behind the wall. Olaf is, of course, back on hand, lending a hand. Off-camera, I've also been restoring a section of the historic wall. Since the new blocks look so good, I had to redo the section made of unhewn stones – After this video, there will be a short cut to the fence construction. Hessian television has announced its arrival for a "room tour," and there's still some preparation to be done at the mill. The remaining two fence sections will be featured in the next part.
