The traditional Region and Ethic Group of the Eastern DR Congo Briefly Bashi are a traditional region and an African ethnic group in the Eastern part of the DR Congo, specifically in the South Kivu province. they reside the in the awe-inspiring Mitumba mountains along the lake Kivu and its inclusion administrative territories such as Walungu, Kabare, Kalehe, Mwenga, idjwi, and Uvira sourounding Bukabu, the main city. There are about 12 million inhabitants instate region, predominantly speaking the Mashi language. The Bashi as a kingdom divided into various localities and sub-chiefdoms. Walungu, Kabare, Ninja, Kalehe, Birava,Mwenga, idjwi, and Uvira, highlighs the unique characteristics and contributions of the Bushi in the DRCongo. The Bashi are a well organised kingdom and have a legal process framework for conflict resolution methods that date long time before the colonization happened, we celebrate the great king of this Kingdom including Mwami Ndaitunda and the legacy he left behind.
