How to Install Chamberlain MyQ Smart Garage Door Opener Control (Step-by-Step Retrofit)

Ever realize you forgot to close the garage door, and wish you had a smart home? 🏠 In this video, we’re retrofit installing the Chamberlain MyQ smart garage door opener control system to add smartphone control, alerts, app setup and use to my existing garage door openers with the added benefit of Amazon Key service for in garage package delivery! I do have problems installing and connecting the Chamberlain MyQ smart garage door opener control to my garage door opener, but I was able to figure it out in this video. The Chamberlain MyQ system is one of the cheapest and easiest smart home upgrades you can do. No wiring required! The primary system including the WiFi hub and one garage door position sensor is available for approximately $30, and works with the FREE Chamberlain MyQ Garage & Access Control app for Android or Apple devices. Additional garage door sensor(s) can be added to support multiple garage doors with the single hub control system. I personally decided to buy this MyQ system because of a friend recommendation and over 100,000 reviews on Amazon with a positive average rating and comments.
