Double Slice Layer Cake Quilt!

Stitching the gorgeous “Sunshine & Blue Skies” Layer Cake into the Double Slice Quilt Pattern! I wanted something easy, fast, no seam matching and no HSTs. This easy layer cake quilt top took me a little less than 5 hours from unwrapping the new fabric to ironing the final seam. Sometimes you are in a season where you desire a more complicated quilt pattern to challenge yourself or learn a new skill and sometimes you feel like you’ve lost your sew-Jo and need a quick easy satisfying sewing win to get you back on track.
