What can be done to improve it without HIGH COSTS? Important notes for using STREET WATER... 1 - Since this water comes from the mains, it can undergo backsiphoning (negative pressure) if a hose in a neighbor's yard (connected to the street water) is connected to a container with oil. This oil, due to negative pressure, can contaminate the network. (A rare occurrence, but not impossible.) Blucher Publishing. 2- Using street water REQUIRES the installation of PRESSURE REDUCER's on shower heads, as most shower heads can withstand up to 40 MCA, while street water has over 40 MCA, often doubling this pressure at night. 3- Shower heads and faucets with gas or solar-powered water heating operate at UNIFORM pressure, while street water DOES NOT HAVE UNIFORM PRESSURE, precisely because it is in constant use. In other words, you are using the water to shower, and then it cools down, heats up, and fluctuates a lot because of this fluctuating water pressure. For this, these shower heads and faucets require pressurizers of around 12 MCA to 19 MCA.
