Kirwani Pallavi Dance Choreography – Padmavibhusan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Music Composition - Pandit Bhubaneswar Mishra Kirwani pallavi is an odissi choreography of pure (or technical) dance. It is based on raag kirwani, a melodious scale linked with an atmosphere of romance, melancholy, love and longing in separation. It is also associated with the beginning of the night and the image of a peacock's dance. This video was recorded in my hometown of Montpellier, south of France.
