Kader ve Başımıza Gelenler | tam bilmiyorum | B41
In this episode of our "I Don't Know Quite Well" series, we delve into the profound issue that humanity most questions and struggles to comprehend: "destiny." In this conversation, where we contemplate that the nature of destiny is hidden only in God's infinite knowledge, we evaluate the fine line between human free will and responsibility. Following the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) principle, "First tie your camel, then trust in God," we understand that trust in God is not inaction, but rather leaving the outcome to God after doing everything within one's power. We remind ourselves that the most fundamental goal of a Sufi's spiritual journey is to liberate oneself from one's own "self." In light of the Quranic truth, "Goodness comes to you from God, and evil comes from your own self," we emphasize the importance of confronting one's own self, rather than attributing blame or fault to others or to destiny. We're discussing how avoiding taking responsibility for mistakes and constantly blaming external factors is, in a spiritual sense, a failure to "move beyond childhood." It's important to remember that the word "religion" inherently contains "submission." Those who believe in destiny are safe from sorrow; we're exploring how being able to say "Whatever God wills, happens" in every situation relieves a person of a great inner burden and brings true peace.
