6Lb TITANIUM LEADER Over the course of last season I mainly concentrated on UL and BFS lure fishing. Mainly i was targeting perch and chub, however it was rare if a pike didn't turn in the mix. I was lucky enough to land the vast majority of the pike due to the added abrasion resistance of fluorocarbon, however a had several bite offs due to pike. I was put onto Nitinol (titanium wire) by members of LAS as a good bite proof leader material ..... that comes in 6lb and 12lb, perfect for knotting.
