Dragon Ball Power Levels That Make No Sense

Dragon Ball: 10 Times Power Levels Made No Sense Subscribe: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-CBR Everybody loves Dragon Ball and for good reason. While it isn’t the most dense anime out there, it does have one of the biggest fan bases out there. That’s largely because of the incredible drama, fantastic characters, wonderful fights and some of the most iconic moments in anime history. It has led other anime like My Hero Academia, Naruto and One Punch Man to follow Dragon Ball’s format or parody it in some way. That being said, there are some things that Dragon Ball doesn’t necessarily do well. Most famously, Dragon Ball has a serious problem with power scaling. Power levels are established early on in Dragon Ball Z. The early arcs have Saiyans and members of the Frieza Force obsessing over the levels displayed on their scanners. This established a pattern of power level ping pong as heroes and villains raised and outraised each other again and again. While this was interesting through those first few arcs, it eventually wore itself out as the characters blew past these levels to literal godly levels. Now it is so hard to keep up with the show’s power scaling that it seems as though the series itself has given up trying to figure it out. These problems range from Goku’s newest form not comparing to the abilities of his previous forms to villains overmatching their heroes even if it makes little sense as to why. So let’s dive right into the power level problems in Dragon Ball!
