Senator Andrés Ojeda stated that the measure represents a change in government policy and aligns with the Colorado Party's proposal to reinforce the police presence in neighborhoods most affected by drug trafficking. The leader announced that he will present a bill to authorize the Ministry of the Interior to use infrastructure and logistics from the Ministry of Defense.
