Feeding horses fodder at Paul Johnson's Cripple Gray Ranch 12/27/2019. 1 of 4.

Some Australian visitors came over to see my fodder system so I recruited them to video. I was just starting my fifth major modification so I wanted to get a video out showing the current version. I was using much sturdier trays that came without holes. I put holes in one end, then when they were on the growing racks I had a system that tilted the trays so the water would run along the bottom of the tray and drain out the holes that would go into the top of the next tray. I also had been rinsing for 2 days, then one day on the stacked tower, and four days on the slanted shelves. The system in the video has reverted to very cheap, flimsy, trays that come with holes already in them, one day of rinsing, two days on the stacked towers, then four days on the shelves, but no slanting.
