2007 Grey Cup - Saskatchewan Roughriders vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers (95th Grey Cup) - HD AI Up-scaled

NOTE: Only the first three quarters of this game are AI up-scaled HD footage, the 4th quarter is from SD footage. I could not find down-scaled HD 4th quarter footage so I had to use what I had. Here is an AI up-scaled copy of the 95th Grey Cup between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from November 25th, 2007. When I began collecting Roughrider games, one of my most wanted games to obtain has been an HD copy of the 2007 Grey Cup. As of yet, the closest thing to HD footage that I have found has been the down scaled copy I used to create this video. I hope one day I will be able to obtain a true HD copy of this game, but this was a fun little project to test/show off AI technology and it's ability to clean up and up-scale footage. This video was created using broadcast footage uploaded to youtube here:    • Video   The footage was up-scaled using Topaz Video Enhance AI from the uploaded 360p quality to 720p (I rendered the final copy in 1080p as youtube reduces the video quality if left at 720p). I then used the DAIN App to create the interpolated frames to increase the video's frame rate from 29.97 to the original 59.94 the game would have been originally broadcasted in. While creating a much smoother video from the original uploaded one, it isn't perfect. But seeing as the DAIN App is still in it's alpha stage it isn't surprising that the technology hasn't been perfected yet. In total, this video took over 250 hours to render (in both Topaz and the DAIN App).
